MVF Appoints Mike Johnson as CTO

MVF has appointed a new Chief Technology Officer, Mike Johnson. After a long consultation process and thorough interview cycle, internal candidate Mike Johnson was chosen for his stellar track record, commercial understanding and strong cross-departmental relationships.

The appointment will commence immediately, and CEO Titus Sharpe has high hopes for what Mike’s leadership will bring not only to the tech department but the company as a whole: “Mike Johnson’s appointment is testament to his clear vision and the confidence he has gained from people throughout the business.

It is a real pleasure to be able to appoint someone from within the company, who understands our business goals and has already established bonds with all of our departments across our UK and US offices.”

Mike Johnson comments: “I am very pleased to take on the role of CTO at MVF, especially at such an exciting time for the business.

We are entering new sectors, expanding our US reach and looking at mergers and acquisitions this year and tech is a really key part of MVF’s business, so this role will give me the chance to make a big impact at a pivotal point.

Mike studied Physics at Oxford, after which he founded a number of internet start-ups including a social networking site and a service which analysed the sentiment of online videos.

His aim as CTO is simple: “I want to make tech a massive value-driver for MVF.

We have so much talent here, so the possibilities are huge.

One of the benefits of coming from within the business is that I can hit the ground running, and with such a fast growing business, that is vital”.
